In today’s professional environment, creating a safe and respectful workplace is more than just a legal requirement—it’s a moral and social responsibility. At Jana Kalyan Foundation, we are committed to fostering workplaces that are free from harassment, bias, and discrimination. One of our core initiatives in this mission is our comprehensive POSH Training program.
What is POSH Training?
POSH stands for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the workplace. Under the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013, it is mandatory for every organization with more than 10 employees to conduct regular POSH Training and set up an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
Our POSH Training is designed to help organizations understand the legal framework, recognize inappropriate behavior, and establish robust redressal mechanisms. More importantly, it encourages a culture of respect and safety.
Why POSH Training is Essential
- Legal Compliance: Organizations must comply with the POSH Act, or they risk legal and reputational consequences.
- Safe Work Culture: A respectful workplace boosts employee morale and productivity.
- Awareness & Sensitization: Employees and employers become more aware of boundaries, rights, and responsibilities.
- Reduces Risk: Helps reduce incidents of harassment through proactive education and communication.
